Excellent post. I didn't know about the Google ad revenue. I HAD considered the iPhone connection, and, also, driving more h.264 penetration.
I saw another post somewhere pointing out that if Safari gains significant penetration on windows that gives Google another bit of leverage in their struggle against Microsoft since Google is now cooperating well with Apple. That is one more reason to spread Safari on windows.
Excellent. I hope they find as many bugs as possible in the beta and make this the best browser on Windows. Shake the tree.
1 million Safari downloads in the first 48 hours! That's nearly 6 per second. Not too shabby for a beta version.
