I know this wil sound like something from Think Secret, but I was chatting with an Apple product manager at a deadly-slow trade show last month; we ended up talking about ATV and after I mentioned I was thinking of buying one but the fact that it couldn't play DVDs was a problem and I was thinking of buying a Mini instead, she said "well, we'll have 720p shows pretty soon".
