Thanks. Have been entertaining visitors from the PI. Will attempt to glaze ham per your recipe tomorrow and will let you know how it turns out. Took delivery of a Sandridge Farmhouse...just in case. Merry Christmas!!!

Sonia: hi, long time no hear(or email)! That atchara was directly imported from my Auntie's kitchen in Cavite. But I think you can buy some from Pinoy stores. Altho not as good as homemade of course. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Creen: hello there, thanks for bloghopping by! Happy Christmas to you!

Yum, I love sinangag and tocino! I have it practically every weekend at Manila Eatery in Colma, Calif. (near Daly City). I'd rather make it at home though. And yes, I vote for Spam too!

Sassy's got a good recipe for tapa. Is the atsara homemade or bought from the Pinoy store? Would they have that at the one in Queensway?

Stel: I think we can eat only once a day? Or is that once a week? I have a nephew who eats total of abt 4 eggs a day! Di bale, said my husband they live beside a hospital anyway! Hahaha!
Rowena: Spam and egg and fried rice ... you and my son would get along just fine.

Hi Manang, I don't have any. I'm on the lookout as well for both tapa and tocino. Maybe Jmom would have one.

PurpleGirl: hi 'ya. Maybe I'd try the grilled one. Altho the main reason for my boiling is bec. I like it very tender.
RohMih: hello there. Yeah that's a good idea. Pero I really like it a little bit burned !

I like tocino a lot for breakfast. You what I do to avoid the meat to be burned? I wash them before cooking! They still taste as tocino when cooked.
