Hi Rowena, I have that affinity too with Spain especially flamenco dancing. That's why i want to see a live show. My colleague were sort of planning/dreaming for our team to go to Jerez next year 'coz he said that's the real flamenco region of Spain.
Hawaii is also one of my dream destinations. Haaay, dream dream dream! Let me find that lottery ticket...

Thess babe, british style so that was like crepes but smaller? I think we food bloggers have a collective food mind. That's why our posts and meals jive!

ha! So true for the american fondness for 'big portions' when it comes to food. But I will venture to say that it also applies to local people in Hawaii. We like lots rice and a variety of foodstuffs in our lunch plates.
Anyway, I really enjoyed reading about the foods in Spain, your trip there, and whatnot. When I visited that country years ago, I swear I could almost feel my Spanish roots when a travelmate and I went to a local flamenco bar. I felt like getting up there on the stage and start dancing myself!
My husband loves them pancakes as well....the first time he tried them was back in Hawaii. My father loves making huge breakfasts.

Would you believe that tonight, I had pancakes for dinner? I had the thin british style with fresh slices of strawberries and kiwis on top
but I do miss my older sister's fluffy hotcake back home :-(
btw, Celia...you were right! i forgot to include oil in my carrot cake ingredients... ha ha, matanda na talaga!
