Tita Thess: Ginger root is ginger. Yung hinihiwa na gamit sa tinola. Yan kasi yung nakalagay sa cookbook eh. How are you, btw? Did you see the Crufts dog show on TV? I followed it for 3 days. Ang cu-cute ng mga adorable doggies!!

@MrsT: hi there. what's cookin?
@Stel: Talaga? How was your weekend dearie?
@Karen: Fried chicken for midnight snack? Oooh you're giving me ideas.
@Purplegirl: hello there! Yes you add the egg yolks and corstarch staright into the chicken and marinade. You mix it all up. Maybe that's why it's tasty bec. the marinade becomes part of the batter.

chef celia -- sarap naman ng fried chicken mo! just a question on step 2 -- do you add the eggs and cornstarch into the chicken/marinade or did you use it as a a dip for the chicken before frying?

Uy, this is not too different from the barrio technique of cooking the chicken as adobo before frying! Your picture seems to beckon. Makapag-midnight snack nga!
