Oh my - those sound like the World's Ultimate Oatmeal Cookies!! They contian like all of my favourite things! ONe day when I am at home for more than 5 minutes again I really must try them...

Same strategy pala tayo sa cookies, stick the dough in the freezer! And if you forget about it and freezes up, you'll get a bunch of crinkles, hehehe!

My kids learned it differently:
Betty Botter bought some butter,

LOL, we had a neighbor once named Betty and my 4-yo who was just learning the rhyme was with me. I said, "Hi, Betty!" and he suddenly launches into a recitation of the Betty Botter poem. I was so embarrassed.
Hi Joey, no I use dried apricots. They come in packets chopped already so less sweat for me. Might not be a good idea to use fresh fruits in cookies 'coz it might make them soggy. It's okay of course in muffins or cakes.
Wow! This sounds like an amazing oatmeal cookie! Apricots, chocolate, and hazelnuts? Oohlala! Do you use fresh apricots though? Coz if you do, good luck to me finding them here...
