English Patis

Gravatar Lani & Jay: If you've got the chance do visit this foodie market. You'll surely love it.

Stel: Miss ya, too. Hope we win the lottery so I can take you here and give you a personal tour.

Stef: There are a number of movies that did location shooting here. Like 2nd Harry Potter.

Mae: I don't know if the brand/maker is originally from Jersey. But they sure are very attractive and popular with shoppers.

Gravatar Are those Jersey Pottery plates i see before me? It's just they have this range here and i have one of those plates! Great find in the borough market.

I love your blog, the pictures simply transport me back to the Phils.

Gravatar Hi celia K! Have never been to the Borough Market but I read an article plus saw pictures when Gourmet featured LONDON in one of its issues. Its lovely that you featured many photos in your blog cause it enriches my imagination. Hope to reach that Market one day and I hope you can tour me around as well. Keep posting!

Gravatar I will really would! when my sweety have a chance to bring me there :bringin:

Gravatar Sha: Oh yes definitely we'll have a date there!

Pamela: Hi there new food blogger! I haven't tried the chorizo rolls, it must be from Brindisa's stall. I've got to remember to try that.

Gravatar Great post and photo's. Borough Market is my idea of foodie heaven. I vistited there about 2 years ago when my best friend was living in London.

Did you try the grilled chorzo and rocket rolls that everyone queues up for ? They're sublime!

Gravatar one of my fave place in london
u can actually ask for small cuts of cheeses at neils yard to taste.... next time dito tayo mag date ha??

Gravatar Hi Ging, maybe you could visit London one time. Then this market would be a must see for you.

Gravatar Hi Hana, do you used to live and work in America?
Thanks for that correction, I made the necessary changes already. So I guess the Borough Market's official website is wrong coz in there it said the retail market is open Friday and Saturday.

Oh yeah that Monmouth. The aroma coming from there is really heady. What do you think of that Sushi bar beside Konditor & Cook? Any good?

Gravatar The plates are beautyful design. I like them.

Gravatar What a great tour for me! I enjoy reading and looking these photo's that you took. Big wow! for me. About this post that you did.

Gravatar Hey, you were on my 'home' turf - i work just above Konditor and Cook!

Love your photos of it all...but gotta correct you on just one thing - the market is open to the public on other days of the week. Friday is just as busy as Saturday, everything is open; Thursday is pretty busy with nearly all the stalls open; tuesday and wednesday are pretty quiet with just a few things going and on Monday its pretty much just the greengrocers. So actually you can enjoy the market all the time...and if you work there like me, spend far too much of your salary on delicious good things.

Also, if you're a coffee fan, go to Monmouth - its the absolute tops coffe-wise, they go far afield to find organic and small farm beans, roast them all themselves and have about ten different single variety kinds on at any one time. super!
