another very interesting recipe for lasang pinoy... i've never tried this before and neither my mom kaya talagang bago sa akin. my folks like eating tutong the way it is i don't know why...

oh, celia, my mom will love you! she always lectures on why we should save our tutong. i'll be sure to prepare this for her when she comes over.
note on drying: another technique is to dry it in the fridge. this may take several days, pero i just leave it in an open container and voila, dry and brittle grains.
and here we go again with british/american terms: flapjacks here are pancakes.
aha! i never thought ampaws could be made from leftover rice! that one looks really yummy! thanks for your never-ending support and for joining lasang pinoy 15!
