Hello! I found your site via Sardonicnell. Anyhoo, your pancit bihon guisado looks delish! You know I have never ever made pancit except for the "packaged" like the "pancit canton." My bad! I will try to make your version and will let you know how it turns out. Mean while, I'll continue to browse your blog. Take care, and have a good one!

I also feel the same way about Andy being the national hero. Obvious ba hehehe sya din pinili ko for LP
Pancit bihon is my favorite among all pinoy noodle dishes. Walang tatalo lalo na kung ganyan sa luto mo... yum yum!

I'm better as a doctor than as a cook.
For health reasons, best to use vegetable oil (corn, safflower, olive, etc). I wonder if it will taste as good.
We occasionally add strips of scrambled egg on top.
From a doctor's point of view, limit eggs to 3 per week.
He he. I'm torn.

Ay naku, Celia, so true. The oil is essential. I keep trying to decrease the oil but the truth is it's SOOOO good with chicken and pork fat. Hay naku, mag-cholesterol medication na lang kaya:D

i love the crunch in pancit veggies. and this is really a pinoy recipe (even if we borrowed the noodle bit from the chinese). reminds me of that commercial here in the philippines, kids shouting "pancit na naman!" then holding down the sides of their eyes to look chinito/a. haha...
i think i'm ready for my merienda...

As classic a dish as pancit is, I still have never attempted to make it. Your recipe looks delicious and worth an attempt!
