Gravatar well. i will come back to your review once i am done with the book.

Gravatar the book was good. well it took me a good three weeks to finish it. yes definitely waiting for the movie.

Did you know that Da Vinci Code were not allowed to film in Britain's Westminster Abbey after church officials denounced the book as theologically unsound ?

In one of the chapters, it mentioned that by communing with woman (in terms of sex act), man could achieve a climactic instant when his mind went totally blank and he could see God. Is that true or was that fiction ? I find it amusing. More shocking that it described Nibbana as a never-ending spiritual orgasm. I was like .. Har-?

Gravatar Haha...don't think that that was true..but then maybe in the old days, that is why they had sex acts as part of their worshipping ritual? Definately not for Catholics though cause the priests and monks and nuns have to be celibate. That is why there is a debate now to have married men as priests.
Nirvana/Nibbana as never ending spiritual orgasm....well, guessed they have to use that term for lack of a better word to describe it. I suppose they mean it as the climax of spiritualism. Haha....I don't know really.
Not surprised that they didn't allow the filming to be done there. I mean, the whole church was against the book in the first place...the very basis of christiany was *attacked* by that book.....if you could use the word attack.

Gravatar I have read the book. It was my first Dan Brown book and its fantastic. If you happen to read the books on the book Da Vinci code, please review it.

Ciao!!

Gravatar The plot was rather interesting I thought, but I found it a little predictable because somehow I knew who the murderer was. Why, oh why do I have this 'gift' of guessing correctly?

Ever read Angels & Demon? It's equally interesting.
