i totaly agree.i think we should be independant but the problem is where will all the money come from if we are independant. our taxes? the oil in the north sea? the english will keep a hold of that we would never get it? if u dis agree please tell me by putting another comment on this blog
I’m an Englishmen living in America and I’m sick off being called British.
At least you can celebrate being Scottish and be proud of your Gaelic roots and fly St. Andrew’s flag.
Back in the UK, The English are classified as racist they fly St. George’s flag.
Government officials tell the English it’s “bad to be English” and we should be British.
Still, at least the Union Jack has the English and Scottish flags combined on it; how about the poor Welsh, where’s the red dragon?
I’m not sure if people in North Ireland even like St. Patrick’s cross, so I won’t even go there.
As for the British anthem, yes it sucks. It does seem unfair that it has reference to rebellious Scots being killed. At least Scotland has its own anthem, “Flower of Scotland”. England has no anthem!
Scotland has it’s own parliament, England doesn’t!
You go to theme parks such as “Dolly Wood” in Tennessee,
You see guides with the “Union Jack” and “St. Andrew’s” cross,
but where’s the English flag?
As for the royal family, they’re more Germany and Scottish than English!
As for noblemen through the history of the British Isles, they’re always screwing the proletarian, English and Scottish.
Scottish MPs can vote on English policy, but the English MPs can't vote on Scottish policy!
In fact I’m jealous of you Scots standing up for your identity,
I only hope the English reclaim their identity too.
