Hey C
Is there a single issue, a single point of interest to the American people and the World, where the Bush administration is not terminally screwed up?
Answer: Nope.
But your comparison of Sheehan to Musharraf is more apt than you might think. If Cindy ever attained real power you can bet that she would be no Queen of Tolerance, nor would she be any more prone to admit error than either of these other tyants. Bush, Musharraf, and Sheehan are three of a kind. The only difference is two of them are well armed.
cheers

Hang on a second L, you really cannot argue for equivalence based on what one might do and the other HAS done (bombed his own people, sold nuke tech worldwide, called rape a "moneymaking scam", lied about his own intelligence agency's support for islamic terror etc etc)
One is clearly a treat to world stability, the other is only a threat to Dubya's stability.

In response to the question of your last paragraph, no, not so far as I've been able to ascertain. The truly sorry thing is that the Administration has had the concurrence and support of arguably the most venal Congress in our history.

Hey C
I do not mean to malign poor Cindy, I feel a certain pity for her and for the sake of her son I am inclined to give her a pass. But I do not so much see her as a martyr to a cause, but as a willing victim of manipulation by others for their own causes. Let me clarify my comparison a little.
Cindy is not the moral equivalent of Bush and Mush. Morality is based on actions and actions are dependent on opportunities. She has not had the opportunity to be as immoral on the same scale as these other two men. But she is intolerant of dissent; she is reluctant to face error, she has a taste for attention, and a disposition inclined to a certain type of ambition. These are not promising qualities should such a person have been fated to attain real material power. Like most zealots she might be prone to rationalizing her decisions concerning the fate of others confident in her own inerrancy and good intentions. But she has not attained real power and she is not guilty of anything like the scope and scale of evil of Bush and Mush.
I just wouldn’t vote for her for President. For her own sake as well as ours.
Cheers
