"We cannot ignore the fact.." that the Bush and his adminsitration didn't make a "mistake" in invading and occupying Iraq--it was a conscious decision driven by a variety of justifications built on conjecture and fantasies. More significantly the enablers and perpetrators have never acknowledged that they were in the least-bit "mistaken"--their certititude an prognostications simply became 'victims' of unforseeable 'circumstance'.
After six years of avoidance of their predictions and opposite reults, Joyner's notion that 'critics' like Hersh who have been right all along might now be critics soleley from some ideological prejudice in this instance--as though the past is no reference.
Why Joyner would think that NOW Bush et al might NOW make a "sensible decision" regarding Iran, tells me that Joyner has become insensible in the pure sense of the word.
