Wasn't one of the original stated goals of Osama Bin Ladin to get us to commit to a war where we destroyed our military and went bankrupt as a country. I fear we are well along the path to both.
Operation Sinbad went swimmingly, it's the model for our surge. The British shouldn't leave, the ghost of Steve "Redzone" Vincent will haunt them in the future.
