While I dislike the idea of not allowing the comments of the uber right and extremists to be aired, if only for the humor of their repeating of discredited talking points, I think with the push to make webmasters and bloggers more accountable for comments and postings on their blogs by users, which has been happening more often over the last year, it is a sensible decision.

Given the rise in traffic (and comments) along with the inevitable appearance of trolls, I'm having to follow what is happening more and more even on smaller blogs.

Haloscan is causing your site to load very slowly, if at all. I stayed connected for 30 minutes yesterday and the site was still not fully loaded when I logged out.
