The Dems are going to have to face the fact that in the Senate, they have a doddering semi-coherent incompetent whose leadership style projects impotence.
Dick Durbin has his own problems, as does Chuck Shumer, but it's hard to imagine them doing a worse job than Harry Reid.
Dave, for once we're in complete agreement. Reid has been a disaster.
I'm not so cynical about the intelligence of the Democrats, nor am I so naive about their reasons for capitulating over and over and over again.
As with the discovery of Neptune, there HAS to be some massive invisible object moving them away from the predictable course.
Huge numbers of United States Senators don't just suddenly go brain-dead.
