The "it's for my family" comment just doesn't ring true for you? Are you kidding? It's like the most insulting, insanely brazen thing that the man has said yet!
Does anyone know if he can avoid congressional subpeonas if he is no longer officially within the administration? Nobody seems to be clearly saying yes or no yet.

Perhaps this is to further insulate Rove from future hearings.
Bush has been making noise about protecting those who "allegedly" helped to keep America safe after 9-11. Maybe we'll see a blanket pardon for all.
There's nothing these people do that surprises me anymore.

Watch to see if he takes over one of the current rethug candidates campaigns next month. Rove in the Whitehouse was bad, but he's much more dangerous on the campaign trail.

I guess Rove's services are now officially on the auction block for the field of Republican hopefuls. Does he bring more baggage than his clever electioneering tactics are worth? In any event Bush's comments this morning show he is pretty choked up about it
