At TPM Muckraker they're making the point that the Judiciary Committee's subpoena of "complete and unredacted versions" is effective next Monday, 4/16/07.

They then ask why bother issuing redacted documents one business day prior to that date.

Some commenters theorize that since the black-marked redactions can be read using Photoshop, they are distractions from the far fewer white-out redactions.
