Yes, but there's more than a grain of truth to the charge when these types are attacking dyed in the wool, anti-war, liberals who dare to deviate from the " surge is a total failure" party line. Or call moderate Democrats " neocons"
"Intimidate" though would be a better descriptor, as the netroots/Kos/MoveOn.org types simply don't have the numbers to "take over" the Democratic Party in an organizational sense. What they have is ideological zeal, organization and an ability to "swarm" fundraise at critical junctures which is a useful club.
