Brilliant, but more snark please.

The basic argument here is that Al Qeada holding a press conference claiming "they won" is such a great risk that we need to have at least 2 or 3 U.S. Soldiers killed every day.

If only we had some way to combat this press conference other than by placing 160,000 U.S. troops in the country with extremely large oil reserves.

If Cheney's trip is "successful" and the oil law is passed in the next few weeks, what will it mean for this formulation.... Is McCain stuck in Iraq even after the oil law is passed as long as Al Qeada keeps issuing press releases and sending bombers into markets?
