I do not hear much about the demographic of their supporters. It would make the analysis clearer. e.g., I do not see how Sistani might back Sadr over SIIC.

You might not, Danial, but there are reports he's now doing just that. All I have are unsourced reports though. If I get something concrete, I'll let you know.
