By the standards of those filing suit, my parents were amazing. We watched Saturday morning cartoons, saw the ads for sugar cereals. And we used to get them. THEN, my parents read in Consumer Reports that some of these cereals weren't good for us, but Cheerios were, so they started getting only Cheerios. (And then later Grape Nuts). We complained (reminding oiur folks about how nutrious the ads claimed these cereals were), but my parents stood firm, though they did allow us to get a sweet cereal on our birthdays.
Maybe these folks should learn from them. (At least on the cereal issue.)
Strange how some parents want the government to parent their kids. One would think parents would be smart enough to know what's good or bad.
