Okay...
Sending white powder in an envelope? Super lame.
Kind of like sending someone a piece of green paper with "Kryptonite!" written on it.
OOOOO Scary!

Just your average Eagles lovin', Yankees cheerin', beer drinkin', shower singin', Su-Doku doin', volleyball playin', Bush votin' gay guy tring to find any nitch in a little place I like to call... Harrisburg.
You can have social equality, dude. Just as soon as your Harrisburg ass becomes a Phillies fan, you can sit beside me anytime. And if you're buyin' I don't even care if you're a Yankees fan. In that case, I will accept you as you are.

Don't worry about the Mormons. We've been treated MUCH worse by much better people, and we thrive in spite of it.
Or because of it, who knows? Tends to weed out the weaklings.

Well said. Protests are one thing, but some folks have taken a few too many hits from the rage-bong.

And we all remember the unfortunate human beings who really did contract a horrible, fatal disease from the Kryptonite Notes sent back in 2001.

Anyone in the gay community, particularly the activists, stop and think; "Hey! We're behaving like a bunch of spoiled brats who didn't get our way! Let's keep doing it; it seems to be attracting publicity! And the straights will have to love us after we rage up and down the country like this."

It's just as likely that some mormons sent it to their own temples for publicity

My profile hasn't been updated in awhile. I was definitely pulling for the Phils but I will not buy. it's heartening to see folks base equality on sports teams though. A refreshing perspective.

that's a possibilty Tim. But I think the backlash from them trying to frame the gays by doing that would present a much greater backlash and escalate the already borderline protests taking place. The church would risk a loss of credibility I'm not sure they could afford.
Bottom line is whoever did will have seriously damaged thier respective cause and done nothing but throw fuel on the flames.

After having seen how many people would put needles in pepsi cans to try and get some attention I don't believe many scare campaigns. If you can remember Atodd accused people of mugging her in Pittsburgh amid a crime scene of desperate stupidity. I mean she scrawled the "b" on her face backwards AND didn't take out any money from the ATM

Anyone else noticed that some of the signs in the No on 8 marches were printed by ANSWER?
Interesting alliance, that...

Gay activists sure act stupidly sometimes. THAT is going to get the country closer to voting for gay marriage? Maybe they're furious because their campaign against Prop 8 was such a flop. There was plenty of warning the votes would go as they did. Too many didn't listen to the warnings.

Yes, agreed, super lame no matter who did it.
That said, I can't help but get the vibe from some of these comments that you are actually sort of against gay activism. I could be wrong. I know I'm not a gay conservative, but still, I AM gay. I feel like I identify as gay first and whatever political gender I am second. Are gay conservatives even upset about the lack of equal rights? I truly am trying to understand.
