Due to the omnipresent NESN cameras, did anyone else notice when the celebration started in the locker room, there was one tall player who had on nothing but a red t-shirt and a jockstrap and there were a few moments where you could see his butt crack? I'm guessing it was Papelbon, but I'm not quite sure. That's a clip we won't see on NESN any time soon.

I can't believe how boring the season premier for The Office was. I love the show, but found the episode disappointing.
Gee, with so much great sports stuff I hate to make another Office comment, but I thought the episode was terrific. I bet in a couple years when you come across it again (with more relaxed expectations) you'll agree.
Probably right, Chris. They're usually better on the second viewing anyway.
Heck Yeah, that butt crack belonged to none other than our Jonathan Papelbon. Add to that the image of him running around the field with bare feet -- the man is a nut. A yummy nut, but a nut.
A couple things.
Ive never found Katherine Tappen the least bit attractive, but all doused in the wet stuff with the black hoodie and black hat, she looked better than she ever has in her life.
What was so "ridiculous" about the comparisons to '78. Anyone who dared freaking out this year was called "self-loathing fans, " etc... the fact is the Yankees seized upon their second-half cupcake schedule and ran down the Sox to withing 1.5 games. From 14.5 This is not "ridiculous." It almost happened. If not for an 85-1 shot on Friday night, it could have gotten even scarier. Don't be too cocky.

Yes there's the wild card, but it's still a little embarrassing, like taking your sister to the prom. This is the first time in 12 years we've won something during the regular season, rather than stood on the short step for the bronze medal.
Right... I understand that it's very different because they still would go to the playoffs. But, you can't tell me it wouldn't have been a horrifying thing to listen to the Yankee mouthbreathers go on and on forever about being up 14.5 games only to have them catch us. AGAIN. C'Mon CF, you understand Yankee hate, it would have been awful.
