By the way, before I get flamed... I like Jon Stewart; the few times I've managed to catch him, I found him funny.
While his show is in broadcasting, and can easily be called 'political commentary', its hard to rationalize 'punditry' with 'news reporting,' at least to this Blog.
Jon is a hoot as long as you take every thing he says with a grain of salt. It's the way he would want it. It's hard to take it too seriously when you know his show is followed up by South Park and preceeded by puppets making crank calls.
