Nobody asked me, but.... I'll accept your comments (please remain civil!)

Gravatar I would have said the same thing to you... I have read the books and knowing that this would be the final one ever I would be ticked if you told me. Also I cannot stand people that jump ahead with books like that... But that is just me.

Gravatar Sue,

There's a guy in my office who would be equally offended as you if I told him what I know; and I don't particularly like him, so if I didn't tell him I wouldn't tell anyone else, either. (I did tell him Darth Vader was Harry's father, but...)

Even before I read the last page, I pondered saying I did, to see the shock value in a person's eye.

I would never destroy another's pleasure; I merely got a jazz out of the clerk's reaction (could she actually have read all those pages in ~12 hours???). Your reaction is understandable; her reaction, in my mind, was over the top.

Gravatar yea Well she is a moron... But it is basically the same idea... Kinda how people kept it a secret about Darth Vador after you saw Empire. You just did not tell anyone cause it would have runined it...
But I am happy in some respects it is over... But I did see J.K. Rowlings on the today show this morning... and she might be writing about harry again, but it is more of a reference book... Big whoop !

Gravatar I heard it may be an encylcopedia of Potter. In my mind, it may be like Tolein's The Silmarillion. Few people I've met ever could read it through. Die-hard fans (mostly adults) may find HP's reference a worthy read, but I doubt it will be as well received as the rest.
