God is teaching me the same lessons. Being content where I am and "blooming where I am planted" so to speak. Great post, Randi!

Gravatar beautiful and refreshing...thanks.

Gravatar Thanks for reminding me.

Gravatar Oh, how true. Nice to be reminded, thanks.

Gravatar I recently went through some anxious times. Nothing changed except maybe my attitude and focus. Recently I've reminded myself who's in control and how glad I am that He is, and not me.

Lovely post, nice to "meet" you, how old are your DC?

Gravatar Hey, its me... obviously. jsut saying hi.

Gravatar Hi Jess,

I am completley unfamiliar with blogging lingo, except maybe "LOL", which at first I thought meant "lots of love". So I am guessing that DC means "darling children"? (please let me know)

My kiddos are ages 17,14,11,8,3! It's funny because I always need to think a bit to remember their ages-with so many kids and so many birthdays, I lose track!

Gravatar Very true, I've had to learn this the hard way yet the most rewarding way nonetheless. I would have it no other way. The Lord is good...always good!

And I only know because I love that quote and blogged about it not long ago! *L*

Gravatar What a wonderful quote! Thank you for posting this.

Gravatar Yes Randi, DC is "Dear Children" (or darling) most of the time anyway. You can replace the "D" with a variety of things depending on your mood without anyone even knowing you mean anything but "Darling" or "Dear"

We are having #5 this winter but mine are all still pretty young. It's inspiring to read the blog of another mother of 5, and that you're still somewhat sane and survived...LOL

Mine are 7, 5, 3, & 23m - we switch to even numbers this Fall.
