Oh, Randi! You must learn to "row" "Rowing" is an invaluable way to sneak a little bit of cake or lemon bar or brownies.
I learned this technique from my father in law: Just cut a tiny, thin row all the way across the pan. No one will ever know you sneaked a bit--unless you keep rowing and there's not enough to go around for dessert. (All fingers point to my father in law, Harry)

Oooooo....I love lemon squares they are the best. I used to make the boxed version of lemon cheesecake squares, but haven't seen it in a long time. It is good stuff!

Oh, I just love these and guess what? My family doesn't! I found out after I made the key-lime boxed version. I nearly made myself sick trying to eat those up before they went bad (do they ever go bad?!). Mmmmmmmmmmmmm.
You are right, those ARE dangerous. Whenever I make them, I eat most of the pan myself. Yummm. Thanks for reminding me, I might just have to go whip up a pan.
My favorite dessert in the WORLD is lemon sqares!!!! I cute eat a boat load of 'em!!! I will have to make these, but only when I plan on taking them somewhere that they will get eaten up so that I can't eat the whole pan.
