Jim and I used to go to Acres of Books often when we lived in CA a decade ago. Bought a lot of great titles there. We went back to that store one day this past February when we were visiting my relatives in Orange County. Love that book store!

I have to confess that nowadays I am often tempted to a sin Chesterton never committed: losing faith in the "mass of mankind" to spot nonsense when they see it and give it the treatment it deserves. I lie awake at night fearing that people are actually listening to Harvard and Hollywood.
