Seen similar stuff in letters to the editor here in the local papers. Bush is called a facist and a war criminal (same letter writers are silent about Saddam's war crimes), and recently how the US will be facing its own Kristalnacht (sp?) in the near future.

As some had a deep hatred for Clinton, there are those who exhibit the same for Bush.

I don't see Dean or other Dems having much of a chance in 2004 if "Bush=Hitler", or the equivalent, is their slogan.

The black helicopter set is amazing, and they transcend the fence in the middle of the Dempublicans. They will see fanciful conspiracy in everything.

Dan is spot-on. Regardless of where you stand on Bush, hating him and hating Republicans is not going to win the Democrats the White House.

Thus far the only thing that animates the Democrat base is 1.) Bush lied (see "al"'s running commentary) and 2.) Iraq is a "quagmire".

The actual quote in the Weekly Standard, however, seems to indicate that Dean was merely humoring, in semi-private conversation, a true believer.

Maybe you didn't hear me last time.

I still fear Bush is DOA in 2004. And I fear that Hillary is going to be the next president if we are not carefull.

The primary season is still 4 months away.

That woman is crafty and will stop at nothing to get what she wants. Look for her to start making stands against homosexuality in the form of a "mariage is for hetero's only" ammendment to the constitution.

Black helicopters - no - more like Black Tuesday come Novemeber 2, 2004.

You can't be serious. She'd tick off that large a portion of her constituency? Or do you think they'd know it's all a sham?

Who else will they vote for?

Also, how many of them are there really? It is like the black voter block. The Democrats throw them bones once in awhile, but for the most part realized that the black voter block is firmly in their camp, feels like it has nowhere else to go, and is pretty small when it comes down to it. Hillary is a snake. She will do what it takes, say what the people want to hear, she'd probably even become a Republican if that is where she thought she could get power.
