BTW, why no press coverage on Joni Eareckson being in Florida? (Well, besides the fact that probably 99.9% of the press doesn't know who she is! Tho they can tell us who Ben and J. Lo were seeing last week and now they're putting the names and pictures of alleged rape victims on the front pages of tabloids, they haven't a clue who Joni is.)

I sent the link to Mark about this story and used to know this family. The recovery of this woman is remarkable, she used to just be in a wheelchair and stare off into space, and look how far she has come with therapy and loving treatment.

This is inspiring. The body is a remarkable and inspiring piece of equipment. We also need to desperately remember that human beings that cannot communicate by speech can oftentimes communicate in other ways. It's our problem that we are so limiting in our perspective.
