Yeah, sure.

No! Really! I...

D'oh!

Happy Thanksgiving, Mark!

Happy Turkey!

Bah. I hate eating innocent birds. I am having tofu lasagne today.

MURDER!

YOU'RE A TURKEY MURDERER !!!
STOP THE TURKEY KILLING !!!
YOU KILLED KENNY, YOU BASTARD !!!

Rock on, Mark.

I wish all 'youse' Americans a happy Thanksgiving.
Mark, I hope you kept away from the blogs & comment boxes.
Gene.
Hope you didn't test too much Guinness.
Kath.
Beware of the shiraz reds.
Saw on the news here this morning (now 5.30p.m. Friday) that George Dubya visited the troops in Iraq - tremendous tribute to those guys there.
See you all in the comments next week.
Meantime we of other countries will look forward to the season of Advent, unencumbered by the excesses of Turkey & whatever else you get up to.
May God bless you all.
Kind Regards

Even vegetarians are living off of murder. Antinomianism triumphs over all.

Hey y'all check out December issue of Crisis magazine featuring two articles of interest here at CAEI- one by Webmaster Mark his own self and the other by our most distinguished Church historian and non-fan of DaVinci Code Sandra Miesel. Most excellent double-dip for your holiday reading. Now back to power-napping....

Greetings from MIDDLE EARTH.
Everything is going nuts here with the launch tomorrow (Monday) of ROTK.
Air New Zealand has painted 2 747's with faces of Arargorn, Legolas, Frodo & others.
All the locations where different scenes were shot - Hobbiton,Riven Dell,Mordor etc are running tourist visits. There is available a tourist guide book for all the locations which is selling like hot cakes.
All the stars arrived in Wellington over the weekend- centre of Middle Earth - for the Premiere. They have refurbished the old Embassy theatre at a cost of NZ$5.mil and its really terrific.I've done what I said I'd do - got both the previous DVD's and watched them 2 or 3 times to get back up with the play, so this week its all gonna happen - the biggest event in NZ since the All Blacks won the Rugby World cup - or Tean NZ won the America's Cup - and/or all those other things that NZ does, punching way above its weight on the world scene in various spheres of activity.I'm sure Mark will pos

I think I am going to sue Peter Jackson or whatever his name is for slander. I never dragged Frodo to Osgiliath and he knows it!

Kiwi Don! You are such a lucky man!! I tremble with envy. FRODO LIVES!!

We Yanks are busy waddling back in to work tomorrow after a highly caloric X-tra-long weekend of turkey, smashed taters, stuffing, cranberries, sweet taters, the infamous green-bean casserole, gravy over the whole shebang, and punkin pie. Sam Gamgee would've been a happy man in most Yank households this past week, even without a single Oliphant sighting.

Wait'll we tell him about leftovers.

And oh, yes, the Shiraz from your neck of the woods (sort of -- Oz) was excellent. Jacobs Creek, I believe.

Kath.
That's correct. Am quite familiar with Jacob & his creek. Just opened another Cab.sav this weekend - another Oz one from the Barossa Valley - one of Australia's famous wine growing areas - settled I believe in the late 1800's by German immigrants, in state of South Australia.
St.Hallett 'Union Church' Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon 2001. My buddy & I bought a case each from his wine club special deal. Also got a Chardonnay which I have yet to try.
Will Mark post TLOTR tomorrow ?

BTW, your long weekend sounds good for loading up for your winter hibernation. I'm sure it was well cooked and very tasty - and you've still got all the Christmas goodies only 3 weeks away. Oh well, what's a waistline anyway?

OK Mark.

It's Monday Morning (12/01/03) and the weekend is over.

Where are you?

I need my morning fix!
