The line that got me was the bit about how people will say that it's not the obvious pathologies of the gay community, but the insensitive language, that is the real social problem.
This struck me as a reference to yesterday's discussion about gay brownshirts. My apologies if it wasn't intended that way.

I think Gerard E. is right. I can see the activists pushing that they are in loving committed relationships that should be acknowledged by the State. On the other hand, along comes an article like this.
How do they maintain their "honour diversity" stance, whilst squashing the icky stuff?
The NAMBLA website is a case in point, it repeatedly points to the connections between gay activism and older men/boy sex. And it claims that boys can and have given consent. They _want_ the slippery slope, in fact they are banking on it as far as I can see. Which much make many gay activists very uncomfortable.
It may make them uncomfortable, but I keep getting the feeling that they're not uncomfortable enough to act the way the National Review conservatives did against the John Birch conservatives in the 50s.
It amazes me that you can link to such disturbing material and still harbor the disagreements that you have with me. I’m surprised that you did not include a link to David Morrison’s discussion of the German cannibal and the links to homosexuality in that case. What is clear is that the mere presence of gayness, homosexuality, SSA (or whatever the fashionable name for it happens to be right now) is associated with other deep-seated, dangerous pathologies. You, however, would look the other way in order to ordain someone with these base desires and you would have cast a vote in the Legislature to overturn the Texas sodomy law, abandoning your Christian obligation to hinder sin. The grim reality is that these individuals are extremely disturbed and we should treat them as such. Anything less endangers the family, the Faith, and social order.
