I didn't do it.


Neither did I (there was no Internet when I was at Univ.) ... As a music student, there was no way I could hire Van Cliburn to play my final recital (I wish). Don't these guys understand the value of original thinking? Pathetic -- or is that "Pathetique"!


I usually tell my students to avoid the internet for most everything historical, unless it coems from a university "e-text" site, which are actually quite good. I try to introduce them to this wonderful thing called a "library."

I could be wrong.


Neither did I. The library is an amazing "invention" for doing research (in books)?


But don't you see? All the other kids get to plaigarize, and they're not booted out at the last minute! It's very unfair!!! And no one ever reprimanded him before, so how was he to take their policy seriously?

(Not that I agree with this POV - but it's pretty pathetic of the school as well as the students, and it does happen a good bit these days, sadly, especially given how much students work during the school year and how little veracity is honored anymore.)
