I know both Geri (Urutia) and at least one person interested in adopting the baby. The mother is in southern California. Latest updated I heard, Geri received a lot of interest in adopting the baby. The mother, to use Geri's words, was somewhat "taken aback", surprised by how many people were interested in adopting her "defective" child. I have a 3 month old little girl with Down Syndrome. She is a great joy.
