Unbelievable. Though a parody of Snape (not Snapes) attempting to teach sex-ed might be hilarious, assuming it wasn't done in the manner that Planned Parenthood hopes for (i.e., without the cucumbers, description of acts illegal in some states until Lawrence, etc.)...

For these pervs, innocence is the enemy.

No, Prof. McGonnagle, definitely:

She tossed her pointy hat on the desk, a dreamy, far-away look in her eyes. Her long fingers, knuckles swollen with arthritis, struggled with the buttons on her tartan dressing gown.

"No," said Dumbledore. "I'll get those," as he revealed his wand....

"She must have every kook and ideologue in the world trying to badger her with demands and accusations."

Including those who want to make her books into a Christian allegory?

If you're referring to John Granger, that's a non sequitur. There's a large difference between trying to understand the meaning and applicability of a published work and trying to make the author write your world view into a future work.

While I have read John Granger's interpretation of the current books, as well as his speculation on the directions that he believes the future books will take, I have not seen him (or any other Christian group for that matter) issue a statement of press release that tries to force Ms. Rowling into changing her story to suit his needs. Can you provide a reference to such a statement?

While we're on the subject - it's sad that Dawn has misinterpreted the CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH statement that salvation comes through the Church and thinks it means that Feeneyism (no salvation for non-Catholics) is the official doctrine of the Church.

Bubbles --

You realize you just added to your time in Purgatory for sharing that little image, don't you?

peace,

Zach,

Yes, he did, by at least ten years. I was going to say that he was one sick puppy, but I think your response is more apropos.

Didn't Monty Python already try this?

Now, now; don't pick on Bubbles for his somewhat...err, "different" imagination. After all, he didn't delete my wistful paean to the beauteous, winsome Alexandra Kerry over on SOTM....!
