The holdup probably had to do with negotiations- over pension, residence, other matters. Of course, we will never know the details- too wonderful, too mysterious. But when all else fails, go by this- when they say it's not the (money, pension, buyout fee, etc.,) it's the (see above.)

They have many good pastors in the congregations Krenn gave a home to in the diocese, St Joseph and the Servi Jesu et Mariae. Let us hope St Polten is given something better than, say, Vienna has.
