I picked up my daily WaPo this morning, and saw the article on the "American reaction". Since I don't drink caffeine any more, I figured I needed something to make my blood pressure to increase a few notches - so I read it.
Later, my wife had to pick me off the floor as I muttered "I can't believe they quoted Mark Shea instead of Richard McBrien...I can't believe they quoted Mark Shea instead of Richard McBrien..."
I'm still not sure if I believe it.

Give it up Mark - quicker to change the name of the blog than wait for a correction.

WOW! Mark you were quoted in an actual real newspaper, unlike the local birdcage dropping collectors in you vicinity. Congratulations!

This is cool - from Spero News:
"As reported, The Global Language Tracking Monitor said funeral coverage surpassed anything seen before - 100,000 media stories world-wide and 12 million internet citations - eclipsing the death of Princess Diana, Ronald Reagan, 9/11, the Southeast December 26th Tsunami and the re-election of George. W. Bush."
What an incredible evangelization opportunity! What work the Holy Spirit is doing in the hearts of millions - unknown and unseen by us. A reality about which both John Paul the Great and our new Holy Father are rejoicing, no doubt.
