I have yet to see any evidence that Bush intends to lower the US's fuel consumption. If he says that we need to reduce our dependence on foreign oil, his solution will be to push harder to drill every square inch of the US that shows any promise at all: National Parks, wildlife refuges, coral reefs - you name it, he'll drill it.
