Actually, I have an alternative plan to distribute materials after the showing of each movie in my corner of the world. That way I am not promoting but hopefully putting sensible material in folks' hands. |
|
Father, don't be surprised if some reject the handouts. I have found myself that there are some who enjoy the delusions fostered by the book and won't countenance any material that contradicts it. Curious. |

Ah but good news in the U.K. Libel suit against Brown from the writers of Holy Blood Holy Grail. Whose faulty scholarship Brown poured into his blender to process into gigundo alleged fiction best-seller. Suit could snif hold up release of snif movie in time for summer blockbuster season honk. Boycotts or none. Got no interest in putting down eight bucks or so for this silliness. Just preaching to the choir in that regard. |

Opus Dei itself is not calling for a boycot but rather is urging its members to "use lemons to make lemonade." A wise course of action, methinks. |
|
It's not a libel suit but a copyright infringement/plagiarism suit. |

Barb N. at http://churchofthemasses.blogspo...-to-
movies.html is recommending alternative viewing that weekend: "Over the Hedge", apparently good for the kids (I defer to those who know better). |

Darn! The Watcher beat me to it. I do like the idea of voting (with my ticket price) for SOMETHING ELSE than the Coded Craziness. |

"Boycotts. Don't. Work." |

Or the Last Temptation of Christ, which, admittedly, was also a lousy movie. |

I expect the DVC movie will be much like National Treasure - a decent mystery/action/adventure flick, with less historical and more hysterical accuracy. |
