Could this be the start of a trend?

Any codes in your new book Mark?

Maybe someone will start back-masking music!

"It's not usual practice for a High Court judge to issue a ruling in which he has hidden an encrypted message."

Well, why the heck not?!

""It's not usual practice for a High Court judge to issue a ruling in which he has hidden an encrypted message."

Alas, if they only knew... This is done in nearly every Brennan decision, especially in his mad quest to get abortion rights. It's standard teaching in Con Law to read the code-words that liberals drop in their opinions in order to see the roadmap they paint to something like Roe V. Wade several years later.

The "Rights Emanating from Penumbras" code.

Or as one of the lawyers in my office calls it, the "Vibes from the Shadows" code.

I like him, too, esp. since he reached the the correct results on the facts and law before him. Grrrr.

Judges should resist the temptation to confuse themselves with God, comedians or puzzlemasters.

....or most importantly....confuse themselves with legislators!

Justice Smith's opinion was rather droll in itself and slapped down both Brown and the plaintiffs.

Somewhat on topic. 60 Minutes last night debunked The Davinci Code. I caught about the last half of the segment. Ed Bradley had the co-author of Holy Blood Holy Grail on and after they proved the Prior of Sion a fraud he still won't concede. He does state however that he cannot prove anything. Dan Brown would not comment to 60 Minutes. Bradley pointed out that Brown's website still maintains that the Priory of Sion was founded during the Crusades. It was nice to know millions of people would see the truth.
