What a pity : in France no popular movment, no mass protest to say "Hey, that's intolerable in a democracy"
People either muslims or politics or school syndicate (usually very strong when there are to bash catholic Chruch) on TV say (a week later): "Oh, of course violence is not good; however, he shoudn't have said that !"
This man must now hide... But our democracy doesn't pay the price for hiding him !! He has to pay the hostels where he must hide !
Every one (exept Villepin) said he has been too far in denouncing the violence of Coran (- did they really read this book?).
It's as if this victim was guilty for this violence !

As for B16 few days ago, it seems that what he said is as serious (or more serious) as the threat of death and the violence demonstrations !

It seems that :
- either we are already dhimmi
- either we consider these guys as thugs, and it's normal for a thug to act violently, isn't it?
- or both...

One of Redeker's comments more interesting comments on this affair appeared in a BBC news article several days back. He stated that the teachers unions had deserted him. The same unions that "celebrate" intellectuals who attack Christianity, but which fall silent when someone expresses well-founded critiques of Islam.

Tells you a lot.
