That was hysterical! I'm glad I wasn't drinking anything when I started watching that. (I can't wait to see what my mother, who does phone work for Apple, thinks of it.)

Auto-delete verses you don't like! Hahahahaaaaaa!
Like: Gentiles hung like donkeys! I abhor it as a menstruous rag! Those are auto deleted by the parental lockdown feature. Also the entire Song of Songs and the prostitute, rape and murder stories.
Now...I must admit...about a week ago I bought the CD's of James Earl Jones reading the KJV NT and loaded it on my iPod...ha! But
The Magic 8 Ball was good, too. I've seen a really superstitious use of Scripture like that.
Stumped my colleagues this week--all non Catholic Christians. (Having been diagnosed with breast cancer on Monday) I told them my Scripture was from Tobit 5, where the healing archangel Raphael tells Tobiah, "Take courage! God has healing in store for you, so take courage!" and then goes on to teach Tobit about "useful medicines." So I've ordered an icon of St. Raphael the Archangel from Monastery Icons, and I'm praying for his intercession in my case, and that he guide my docs in "useful medicines." I'd appreciate their prayers to St. Raphael, too.
Of course, they've never heard of any such things in their life and who the heck is Tobit?! And Raphael?! Hahahahaaaaaa!
I think some artsy person needs to make get well greeting cards with this scripture verse on it, for us Big Bible Believers. Ha!

Oops, I left an unfinished sentence. Re James Earl Jones KJV NT on CD/iPod, I was motivated by the posts about Trautman and plain English liturgy for John and Mary Catholic. Fist in the air, I bought the KJV audio just to hear some elegance.
And I still read my Bible. NAB, RSV mostly. I don't count on my iPod to auto-read it for me. I'm racking up my plenary indulgences. Ha!
