Jersey- Mass. South. Not too surprised by this decision. Judging by Senate race between Grass-Green GOP Candidate Tom Kean Jr. and Demo Bob Menendez. With corruption ick coming out of his pores. As we must lower 50 IQ points when MSM tackles anything resembling religion, do same in Honesty Points to almost any Jersey Pol. Where the teachers union proclaims how wonderful and effective they are. While not naming school systems in Camden, Newark, Patterson, Atlantic City. Quite the contrast to the well-funded burb systems.

Gerard,

You're being WAAAAAY too kind to New Jersey. They're much, much worse. Having grown up there, I really can't find anything good to say about the state at all. Even the "well-funded" burbs are "well funded" only because they crush you in property taxes.

I've known at least 3 of my teenage friends who, now grown, deliberately moved out of New Jersey. It's like the state is making itself inhospitable on purpose.

"I've known at least 3 of my teenage friends who, now grown, deliberately moved out of New Jersey."
Yeah, much of New Jersey has migrated right here to South Carolina! Hey, at least it's bumped our Catholic population up from 2% to 4% of the state!

God can save any wretch, include NJ. I ain't leavin, b/c I want to see the miracle.

Bill,

Does the Nile cut through Trenton?

Next thing you know, they'll be forbidden from stating education is a superior path to the couch potato's life.

Paul,

No, only the Delaware-Raritan Canal.

Cheers,
Bill

In the post where my linked post was made, you linked to a site that compared our VP to the Jap war criminal Tojo. Anyone with any knowledge of history will tell you that there is no comparison. The attrocities of the japs during the war, all under the clear directions proven in war trials, that Tojo was one of the worst in all of human history. So are you so far gone that you cannot admit that linking to this site with this comparison was not a huge mistake? Your entire attack over the last months has been to drive people away from voting for the Republican party by attacking the president and vice president with very derogatory terms which are right out of the hate bush left crowd. There is only one viable pro life party in existence in the USA. There are many other issues that involve many of the other non negotiable issues of the Catholic Church that the democratic party is not in agreement with as well. Now you have this post in shock that a democratic driven state is see attacking sex in the sanctity of marriage and you are upset?? Which party wants to pass an amendment to our constitution making the sacticity of marriage between one man and one woman? Which party consistently brought legislation to try and stop partial birth abortion? Do you or anyone else think if the demcrats gain control of the senate that the agenda of fighting abortion and gay marriage will be on their agenda? Which party has consistently laughed at anstinence and push for condemns funded by government programs? There are those out there that believe the dems are better for the poor and yet 40 years of the war on poverty was a total disaster and much was improved by what was done to end the endless trap of social welfare only by the republican party. Many on the conservative side see creation of jobs for the poor as an answer rather than dependence on government. Europe is imploding with this ond line socialist thought.

Joeh:

This seems to be hard for you to grasp. To say, "Republicans are now joining with Democrats in urging intrinsically immoral acts" is not a way of saying, "Vote Democrat".

Your entire attack over the last months has been to drive people away from voting for the Republican party by attacking the president and vice president with very derogatory terms which are right out of the hate bush left crowd

Nobody has done more to turn voters away from Republican candidates than the GOP and elected Republican officials. Democrats used to be the best reason for voting Republican. Republicans are becoming the best reason for voting Democrat.

But neither of the above responses disagrees with the premise that a government controlled by the democrats would result in what I posted above. Abortion rights would be expanded, gay marriage would be legalized, and we would face a complete collapse in the war on terror when we cut and run. I would also bet we would have a lot less of our citizens willing to go to war to fight with democrats leading the country. We are fighting a war for the very civilization of our country and also the world. If we leave a vacuum in Iraq now, we may never be able to have the hope of gaining any possibility of winning ever again.
