Well worth the purchase!
"You're on a first-name basis with lucidy, Arthur. I have to call it 'Mr. Lucidity', and that's no good in a pinch!"
Another victim of Fox's cancel-happy board of executives. That and the show aired in Fall of 2001, which wasn't a good time for much of anything.

I'm a huge Tick fan...I have toys on display in my office to prove it! ("I Heart Wheat" talking Tick and Taco Bell brick-balancing Tick)
This series has been out on DVD for a while. It is very good and seemed to really hit their stride on the last couple eps. I hope we can get the original cartoons with more bonus features on DVD soon.
If there are other fans out there, another show from some of the writers from the original cartoon now make The Venture Brothers on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. It has more edgy humor than the tick, but is very funny.

I've been meaning to catch the Venture Bros. for a while, but keep missing it. Warburton's on that too, right?
Ben Edlund is doing "Supernatural" now, and while I missed the second episode of the season, the first one kicked butt -- an Angel of the Lord that actually strikes mortal fear in the hearts (?) of the normally fearsome demons on the show AND burns out nosey humans' eyes when they dare to peek upon his true form -- instead of just being a cute n' fuzzy n' impotent care bear like most Hollywood angels.

Glenn, yeah I know, but they have little-to-no special features and are missing a couple episodes for copyright reasons (I think).

?????? I have owned this set for years. Not much "news".
And we have to wait until February to again see Nestor Carbonell as the enigmatic "Richard Alpert" on LOST.

I'm not sure how many times I heard Patrick Warburton's voice in various cartoons before I realized it WASN'T Adam West. (Then "Family Guy" had to muddy the issue further by hiring Warburton AND West!)
Just like I heard Bonnie Tyler's "It's A Heartache" about 50 times back in 1978 before I realized it wasn't Rod Stewart.

I hope I wasn't the only one who found it at least superficially ironic that Nestor Carbonell (Bat Manuel) was in the latest Batman movie (still wearing WAY TOO MUCH eye makeup).

Victor, yeah, I noticed that right away. But I'm convinced that's just how his eyes look.
