Prof. Librescu is what my Jewish friends would call a mensch. "Alev hashalom", may he rest in peace, and may his family be comforted among the mourners of Jerusalem. |
I feel that an act such as this, which is to show the love that is the greatest, is an act of martyrdom, whereas this man, who may not have been Christian by faith through his life, has been baptised in his blood, by following the natural law in his heart. I pray that the Lord indeed has mercy on his soul, and on all those who were senselessly killed in this act of violence. |
On Yom HaShoah, Professor Librescu not only said, "Never forget!" he also said, "Never again!" |
God bless him and give his soul peace. To have one's last act on earth be so Christ-like! Inspiring! |
Amen. |
Amen. |
Eternal Rest grant unto him O Lord, and let Perpetual Light shine upon him! |
Praise God that men like him have lived. |
Amen! God bless him! |

Professor Librescu was witness to mindless evil once in his life and, when he looked into its eyes again, he knew what to do. Thank Heaven he had a stout heart and a resolve steeled by God. |
