Actually I don't think the bar in the opening scene was in Fargo. I think it was what used to be Ralph's Corner Bar in Moorhead, just across the river.

The best hamburgers, with greasy fried onions; frequented by bikers and philosophy majors.

Actually, none of Fargo was actually filmed in Fargo. Most of it was filmed in Minnesota. But we're glad to have you here anyway!

The bar is in Grand Forks. Ironically enough, there was no snow in Fargo the days they shot in ND, so they took it 75 miles north of here to Grand Forks, home of the epic flood.

They got better.

We're gonna try to see ya Mark, if the bouncers haven't been warned about me.

Just so y'know.

I've got a sh**load of beans lined up.

Anyone for snorts?......Anyone?

Actually, the Coen brothers are from St. Louis Park in Minnesota and are making a movie here based on their childhood, but it is not supposedly autobiographical.

I'm up for beans. Esp. while Mark is away.

It was great seeing ya in person Shea! If anyone ever gets a chance, see him give his spiel, he gave a great talk. A nice mix of pointing out the irony in anti-Catholic positions, while encouraging the faithful. Nice guy too, put up with the wife and I jabbering his ears off before and after the presentation.

And there was free beer there as well. Just try to top that!

Nice meeting you in person Shea, I'll have to behave myself now that I have a face instead of anonymous Internet words. *grin*
