Your comment seems unduly harsh. Shouldn't you at least give CRS a chance to respond, and possibly institute changes?

I have been a long time contributor to CRS and I would be hard put to think of another Catholic charity that fills their role.

I will keep this in mind when next CRS phones; I will put their barrage of mail appeals into a separate pile from all the other charity appeal piles that come each month. I always respect what Grisez has to say.

check out the flipchart--that says it all. it essentially implies that those poor, dumb folks can't figure it out and live their "authentic freedom" (as dearly departed John Paul II would say!)and strive for virtue (and sainthood!). Compare the chart to what then-Cardinal Ratzinger says in the article in July, 1988.
