No doubt the women who go there are treated with the utmost concern and compassion, too.

I know one of the guys who regularly prays outside this abortion clinic, and I happened to talk to him recently. Almost anticipating what I was thinking, he told me that a lot of people tell him they would never want to pray outside an abortion clinic like this, where the evil is so palpable.

On the contrary, he said he'd rather pray outside a place like this rather than, say, the new $7 million "Abortion Fortress" of Aurora, IL (some 70 miles away), whose outside appearance completely masks the evil within.

He told me, "When you see a rubber chicken on a crucifix, it makes you want to pray harder."

I hadn't thought of it that way.

I probably don't want to know, but I don't get the "NIWC 50,000, Protesters and Bishop 50" sign. 50 what? Or is it too much to try and find logic with these nutcases?

On the other hand, I wonder how many women who were wavering about whether or not to have an abortion turned around and walked the other way when they saw the rubber chicken on a crucifix.

RE: 50,000 NIWC, 50 JC.

NIWC must be the acronym for the clinic "Northern Illinois Woman's Center". JC, presumably is Jesus Christ. Is this some sort of grisly count of how many children were aborted versus how many were saved?
.

Noah—

Yes, that's exactly what it is.

I've got to think, or at least hope, that some unknown women over the years were repelled by the sheer crassness of the place and didn't walk through the doors, or didn't encourage others to do so.
