There was a time when I read prayer requests I would think to myself 'When I say my prayers tonight I will remember X" and most times I had forgotten by the time night rolled around. Now, as soon as I read something like the post I stop what I am doing and pray for the person who needs help.
St Peregrine and our Holy Mother please intercede for this woman and if it be for the good of her salvation may she be cured.

Please pray for my Dad...he's in his final furlong. He's 82, advanced Parkinson's, has been in a nursing home for a couple of years. Doc thinks he lost motor control of swallowing and inhaled some food causing lung infection. He's been unconscious for a week and has a DNR order...IV fluids and antibiotics but recovery is highly unlikely.
So I'm hitting the road tomorrow to go say my goodbyes.
He is a fine man and rock solid steady in his faith his whole life. I am a Daddy's girl and this most excellent father made it easy for me to love Abba Father.
While I am relieved that his suffering is ending soon after a long decline, it is still hard to say goodbye and let go of his being in the world.
Please pray for him, and me, and our family. Thanks.

Dear Kentuckyliz,
I will lift you and your fathr in prayer. What a blessing that you have time to visit him before he leaves this earth.
Heavenly Father, grant that liz arrive safely to her father's side. Lord Jesus, may your peace be present with her father and with liz this day and each day till you take him home. Precious Holy Spirit, fill liz with an overwhelming sense of Your presence. I pray that You will speak to hearts, comfort all who are grieving, and safely lead this father to his heavenly home. I ask these things in the name of our Blessed Triune God, who lives and reigns forever and ever. Amen
